Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be handed a £200m war chest this summer and €50m rated Tiemoue Bakayoko is the first target.
Having confirmed their champions status for the 2016/17 season, it is now upon the club to go and try and defend that.
With a hefty budget, Conte should be able to plug the most worrying gaps and strengthen the squad ahead of Champions League football.
Their first target according to reports, Bakayoko, has impressed upon breaking into the Monaco first team.
The French side won the Ligue 1 title last night and the midfielder has been one of their star men.
That is without his impressive Champions League performance against Manchester City too.
Other targets include Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Virgil Van Dijk.
If the club were to seal the signings of just those players, there is no doubt they could even challenge to be European champions again.
Chelsea are willing to spend £50m on Bakayoko? They’d be overpaying, but hey, they’ve got to spend their ̶d̶o̶d̶g̶y̶ Oscar money somehow.
