Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has played it cool over his possible contract extension, as many rumours claim he could well pen a longer deal with the club to take him past his current deal – and bump up his pay packet as well.
That would also mean the club keep him out of the clutches of Inter Milan, who have been heavily linked with Conte in recent months, as they have massive new investment in the club, and want to get back to the pinacle of Italian football – and after seeing Conte at Chelsea, they believe he’s the man to do that, and bring back the glory days that they haven’t seen since Jose Mourinho’s treble winning days.

Conte has also played it cool on John Terry’s future, and has claimed that he may not play the defender on what would be his last Chelsea game – that’s because he wants to make sure Chelsea win, and he could possibly target a record 30th win.
