Barcelona star Gerard Pique was pulled over by Spanish police after being caught speeding ahead of the tense final weekend of La Liga games, according to the Sun.
The former Manchester United man was caught breaking the speed limit and was deemed to be driving recklessly. It is believed he will receive a hefty fine and also six points on his driving license.
The Spanish international missed Barca’s 4-1 victory over Las Palmas due to a virus but will certainly be in the team for the final game of the season this weekend.
Barcelona are currently sitting in second place, trailing league leaders Real Madrid by three points but three points from Barcelona and an unlikely loss for Real Madrid on Sunday means Pique and his team could win the league down to a better head-to-head record, beating Real Madrid away and drawing the game at home.

The Catalans did manage to add some tension to the seasons run in after a hard-fought victory away at Real Madrid, with Argentina front man Lionel Messi grabbing the winner late in the game to win 3-2.
Barca welcome Eibar to Camp Nou on Sunday whilst Real Madrid travel to Malaga in the hopes they get the victory that will crown them champions for the first time in five years.
