Alexis Sanchez is set to leave Arsenal should the club fail to beat Liverpool to a top four spot this season.
It will all come down to the final match of the season, and it is out of Arsenal’s hands – if Liverpool and Man City win, the Gunners will miss out on the top four and face at least one season in the Europa League.
That will mean Alexis leaves the club according to reports, with the forward unhappy at the prospect of missing out on Champions League football, and hardly short of suitors.
Despite still being set on leaving the club, Alexis has claimed he does support manager Arsene Wenger, who’s come in for increasing criticism this season from the fans – and finishing fifth would be the final straw for them.
Alexis has condemned the Wenger Out chants and protests, and thinks that more respect should be shown to a manager who has given so much to the club.
