The Togolese international has scored in back to back matches for the first time since February 2014
The Togo striker opened his account for Basaksehir in the 3-0 win over Konyaspor last week, and is clearly relishing life in Turkey.
It is the first time in over three years that Ade has scored in back-to-back matches for a club since last doing so when he scored for Tottenham Hotspur against Everton and Newcastle United in February 2014.
After opening his account with a header in last week’s 3-0 triumph, the 33-year-old bagged another headed effort for Abdullah Avci’s men to send the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium into delirious celebrations.
This time, the Togolese captain headed home from Edin Visca’s corner kick in the 59th minute to give his side the 3-2 lead.
However, Mavi Ates fought back to draw level and prevent the second-placed Basaksehir from catching up with log leaders Besiktas.
The Sparrow Hawks of Togo are scheduled to take on Egypt in an international friendly this week, and the former Arsenal man is expected to follow on from his impressive showings in Gabon to lead the line for the West Africans.
Basaksehir will next be in action on the 1st of April with a fixture against Akhisar Belediyespor.
