Liverpool and Everton have managed to turn what was originally a friendly derby into a fierce competition of bitter rivalry. The names we were accustomed to have gone but the nature and complexion of the Merseyside derby stays the same. Liverpool are on the rise but their attitude when the opponent isn’t a title contender is appalling, meanwhile a certain Romelu Lukaku is waiting to pounce again… as always. Off to Turf Moor, Burnley are difficult at home, Tottenham are without Harry kane, had Gabbiadini been on for the entirety of their last match, the result might have been different, Burnley will come too hard for Spurs.

Not sure we should ask too much here, last season, Palace rode on their luck and condemned Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, this is a different affair, No chance whatsoever for the Eagles here. Hull must win, Westham must avoid defeat, both side must go for it, Niasse is back for the home side, it will be a cracker. Shakespeare is on a run, an amazing run, another win here will ultimately confirm Leicester’s topflight status and put them in top gear as they negotiate Atletico Madrid in Europe, nothing is impossible! Manchester United finally left their sixth place of rest, they will return home if they fail to win here, Westbrom got the better of Arsenal last time out, they have Fletcher to ask how to do it against the team that made him.

Watford are low on morale, Sunderland have never had any, to stay up, the Black Cats must avoid defeat here, hello David Moyes, a loss here is a ticket to the championship, the former Manchester United man won’t be in charge if he doesn’t win here. Southampton did little to resist the loss at Spurs, they will do everything to dump Eddie Howe and Co. the Cherries have improved of late, steering clear of the drop zone, but not sure they will come good at St. Marys.

Swansea have lost consecutively for the first time since Paul Clement took over, well Boro haven’t been fantastic either, their gift to United the other time epitomized their shameful stance after easing Aitor Karanka out, Swansea will beat them.

Arsenal will shock bookmakers, they will beat City. Their season is as good as over, even if the triumph over the Citizens at the semis of the FA Cup, they won’t beat either of Chelsea or Spurs at the final; the mentality of the team is the problem, whether the manager stays on or not, the team has to learn how to fight for themselves, for their pride and for the fans. The Citizens aren’t flying either, losing to Monaco wasn’t unexpected but the manner in which they capitulated and tumbled out of the title race shocked the Guardiola believers. Win or lose, they’re both out of the title race, everyone is in the real sense as Chelsea won’t lose guard, fight for pride boys…
