Brazil star Bernard signs five-year contract with Everton

Everton are set to announce the signing of Brazil star Bernard from Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday morning according to the Mirror.

Bernard arrived at the club's training ground for a medical on Wednesday afternoon and has signed a five-year deal with the Goodison Park club.

Everton have completed an impressive deal for Brazil star Bernard and will announce his capture on Thursday morning.

He was one of the most wanted players this summer as Everton beat clubs like Chelsea, Inter Milan and West Ham for their new star.

Everton offered him a £150,000 a week deal which lured him after his five-year contract at Shakhtar Donetsk came to an end.

The Toffees are looking at adding a couple of players before the close of the transfer window on Thursday.

Colombia star defender Yerry Mina is likely to put pen to paper for Everton with the Blues board extremely confident that they will close the deal before the window closes at 5pm on Thursday.

Despite late interest from Manchester United, the Barcelona center-back is inclined to moving to Goodison Park as reports suggest that he has agreed a fee of around £28m with Everton and he is guaranteed of regular playing time by the blues.
