Arsenal set to sign Bernd Leno, Lucas Torreira: Transfer cost revealed

According to various reports, Arsenal are close to completing two major signing.

The London club are currently in the rebuilding process as they look to start a new era after Arsene Wenger resigned from his position. Unai Emery was hired as his replacement, the former PSG manager has wasted no time making changes to his playing staff.

Stephan Lichtsteiner was Emery's first signing, the Swiss international moved to the Emirates from Juventus on a free transfer deal.

29-year-old Sokratis Papastathopoulos is also on the verge of completing his transfer to Arsenal from Borrusia Dortmund.

With two more players; Sampdoria’s midfielder Lucas Torreira and Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno rumoured to be completing their move, Unai Emery seems to be making all the moves early enough in the transfer window.

The Times on Thursday reported the likely amount Lucas Torreira and Bernd Leno deals:

Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign 26-year old German goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen as their number one goalkeeper for £22 million and have agreed with Sampdoria for the transfer of Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira, the 22-year old would cost nearly £26.8 million.

As for the official announcement for both new signings, we could be expecting that soon according to social media rumours.
